Orkut Oru Ormakoot is a Malayalam film written and directed by Manoj Vinod.[1][2] The film is launching new bunch of actors which includes Joe Sibi Malayil (son of famous director Sibi Malayil), Ben Lalu Alex (son of actor Lalu Alex),[3] Anu Mohan (Grandson of actor Kottarakkara Sreedharan Nair), Vishnu Raghav and Arjun Ashokan (son of actor Harishree Ashokan). Rima Kallingal is doing the female lead.[4] Film is slated to release in mid-2011. Manoj worked as an associate director to writer director late Lohithadas and Vinod is a School of Drama alumnus. Coming from the amateur theatre background their renowned works are Hijara-The Eunuch which one the best drama award in all India competition held at Amritsur, Punjab, Mukkanajji-The Fisher Woman and Malavaazhi-The Goddess of the Mountains.
