Gervais Rufyikiri

Gervais Rufyikiri (born 12 April 1965 in Bugendana, Gitega Province) is the current president of the Burundian Senate. He has held this post since 17 August 2005. Rufyikiri is an ethnic Hutu member of the National Council for the Defense of Democracy-Forces for the Defense of Democracy (CNDD-FDD).
