The Metropolitan Community Church in East London is based in London, England and is part of the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches. It was formed by a group of worshippers from Metropolitan Community Church of North London who wished to have a Church presence in the East end of the City.

Originally Pastored by Rev Andy Braunston, the Church was led by Rev Jane Clarke from 1995 to 2007. In 2007 Rev. Clarke moved to Glasgow with her partner, Kate to start a new MCC Church there. Jak Davis Jama took on the role of pastor until an interim pastor was appointed by the region. Revd. Dr. Kermie Wohlenhaus served in this capacity for two years. The church is currently cunducting a Pastoral Search

The Church sees itself as being:

:"a Christ-centred church of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered communities inviting all people to share in an adventure of spirituality and faith."

After meeting for many years in Mile End, the Church relocated in 2005 to St. Bartholomew's Church and Community Centre, 292b Barking Road, East Ham, E6 3BA (coord|51|31|56|N|0|3|7|E|display=inline,title)and meets for worship every Sunday at 5.30pm.
