Peter Edward McIntyre (born April 27, 1966, Gisborne, Victoria) is a former Australian cricketer who played in 2 Tests from 1995 to 1996.

He was a leg-spin bowler, unlucky to have arrived at the same time as fellow spin bowlers Shane Warne, and to a lesser extent, Stuart MacGill; consequently he never managed to establish himself fully in the national side. He played in 2 Tests, in Adelaide in 1995 and New Delhi in 1996.

While his average of almost 40 with the ball in first-class cricket with Victoria and South Australia was high for a bowler, he was from the pre-Shane Warne era of spinners who were of a much lower standard.

He retired from first-class cricket in 2002.
