Kaveh Golestan

Kāveh Golestān (1950 - April 2 , 2003), (PerB| کاوه گلستان ) was an Iranian photojournalist. He is the son of the Iranian filmmaker and writer Ebrahim Golestan and the brother of Lili Golestān, [Masoud Soheili, Photographer, "Portrait & People: Lili Golestan". Kaveh was married to Hengāmeh Golestān [Maiden name unknown to the writer of these lines at the time of writing.] and Mehrak Golestān is their son.

Kaveh Golestān was a freelance cameraman who took the first pictures after nerve gas was used in Halabja. He won a Pulitzer prize for his coverage of the 1979 revolution in Iran and subsequent events.
