Jihadistan

The term Jihadistan, a portmanteau of "jihad" and "-stan", refers to the perceived borderless "nation" of Islamist terrorists, mainly inhabited by al-Qaeda and other extremists. As it is borderless, it can be said to be anywhere Islamic terrorists are active.

The "Islamic World" of the Quran recognizes no political borders. Though orthodox Muslims (those who subscribe to the teachings of the "pre-Medina" Quran) do not support acts of terrorism or mass murder, sects within the Islamic world subscribe to the "post-Mecca" Quran and Hadiths (Mohammed's teachings). It is this latter group of death-worshipping sects that calls for jihad, or "holy war," against all "the enemies of God." (These enemies, or infidels, consist of all non-Muslims)."
