Gary Beals

Gary Beals

Gary Beals (born 22 October 1982 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada) is a Canadian singer who is best known for being the second-place finisher in the first season of the reality television series "Canadian Idol". He is a resident of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

After losing to Ryan Malcolm on the show, he released a self-titled debut CD in August of 2004.

His first album, "Gary Beals", entered the Canadian album charts at #10 and went on to sell 110,000 copies.

He is currently working on a new album, with producer Ziggy Zigman. It is expected to be released in March of 2008.
