Empresa Brasileira de Correios e Telégrafos (English: Brazilian Post and Telegraph Corporation; ECT), also known as Correios, is one of the largest state-owned companies in latin america and is responsible for the national postal service of Brazil, with a high level of reliability in Brazil. It also provides e-commerce platform (CorreiosNet Shopping), banking (Banco Postal), Boleto payment collection and immediate forwarding (Sedex), with its international service network efficiently reaching more than 220 countries worldwide. The company is operated by the Ministry of Communications.
