Henry James Scrymgeour-Wedderburn, 11th Earl of Dundee (3 May, 1902 – 29 June, 1983) was a Scottish nobleman and politician.
The son of Col Henry Scrymgeour-Wedderburn, de jure 10th Earl, he was educated at Winchester and at Balliol College, Oxford, where he was President of the Oxford Union in October 1924.
He was Unionist Member of Parliament (MP) for West Renfrewshire from 1931 until 1945 and served as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Scotland from 1936-39 and again from 1941-42, having served with the 7th Black Watch in the interim.
He was Hereditary Royal Standard-Bearer for Scotland, a right established by his father before the Court of Claims in 1902. The titles of Viscount of Dudhope and Earl of Dundee, dormant since 1668, were revived in 1953 and 1953 respectively following a successful claim admitted by Committee for Privileges of the House of Lords.
He later served as Minister without Portfolio from 1958-61; Minister of State for Foreign Affairs from 1961-64 and Assistant Deputy Leader and Deputy Leader of the House of Lords from 1960-62 and 1962-64 respectively.
In 1954, he was created Baron Glassary in the Peerage of the United Kingdom.
He was appointed a Privy Counsellor in 1959 and was awarded an honorary LLD by St Andrews University in 1954.
