Kathleen Bradley (born Kathleen JoAnn Bradley on January 10, 1951 in Girard, Ohio) was primarily known as a "Barker's Beauty" on the daytime game show "The Price Is Right" from 1990 to 2000. She became well known and liked by fans of the show during her 10 year tenure, among the longest of any of the models. Although a woman named Harriet holds the distinction of being the first African-American model on the show (she appeared occasionally in episodes from the first season of the Dennis James-hosted syndicated version in 1972), Bradley was the first permanent African-American model on the show. She was also Mrs. Parker in the movie "Friday".

Personal life

Bradley won the "Miss Black California" award in 1971. She was married to Bill Overton and had one child before they divorced.

In 1979, she was part of the short-lived disco group Destination, which had a hit single with "Move On Up/Up Up Up."

Departure from "Price"

Bradley, along with longtime model Janice Pennington, was released from her modeling duties on "The Price Is Right" in October 2000, shortly after having been subpoenaed to give testimony during the age and weight discrimination lawsuit filed by former model Holly Hallstrom, who was fired in 1995. Both Bradley and Pennington sued for wrongful termination, but eventually settled out of court for an undisclosed amount.
