child2=YokeThe Lower Mamberamo languages are a recently proposed language family linking two languages spoken along the northern coast of Papua province, Indonesia, near the mouth of the Mamberamo River.
The two languages, Warenbori and Yoke (also called Pauwi), were listed as isolates in Stephen Wurm's widely used classification. Donohue (2003) showed them to be related with shared vocabulary and, more convincingly, shared morphological irregularities, though Yoke appears to be less like Austronesian than Warenbori. [http://courses.nus.edu.sg/course/ellmd/warembori.html] Ross (2007) found that pronouns show Warenbori at least to be an Austronesian language.
