The Akron, Canton and Youngstown Railway reporting mark|ACY was a Class I railroad that existed between 1907 and 1982. This railroad ran from Akron, Ohio, west to Delphos, Ohio.
In 1944 the ACY was merged with the Northern Ohio Railway, forming the Akron, Canton and Youngstown "Railroad". In 1964, the AC&Y was acquired by the Norfolk and Western Railway, though it continued to operate separately until it was merged on January 1, 1982.
On June 1, 1990, Norfolk Southern Railway sold remaining trackage of the original Akron, Canton and Youngstown to a new shortline railway, the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railway (reporting mark WE). The Wheeling and Lake Erie operates former ACY trackage as far west as Carey, Ohio, and as far east as Mogadore, Ohio.
As of 2006, the AC&Y building still stands on Exchange Street in Akron, Ohio. Norfolk Southern interchanges are at Sterling and Akron under the Y bridge. Trains are then routed into the Norfolk Southern Bellevue yard.
