"Up for the Match" is a popular Irish television programme broadcast in two editions each year on RTÉ One. The show is broadcast on the eve (i.e. Saturday night) of the All-Ireland hurling and All-Ireland football finals and serves as a build-up to both these games, the high points on the GAA calendar. "Up for the Match" (formerly "Up for the Final" and originally presented by Liam Ó Murchú) is currently presented by Gráinne Seoige and Des Cahill. Seoige took over as Cahill's female co-host from Mary Kennedy in 2008.
