Beaumont Hills is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Beaumont Hills is located 40 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the Baulkham Hills Shire. Beaumont Hills is part of the Greater Western Sydney region and the Hills District.
History
Beaumont Hills was formerly part of the suburb of Kellyville, as was Kellyville Ridge. Beaumont Hills became a separate suburb in 2002. Beaumont Hills was developed as a low-density residential suburb in a time frame similar to Kellyville.
Residential Areas
Although Beaumont Hills is adjacent to Kellyville, it is offers a different choice of houses. Unlike Kellyville, Beaumont Hills is a completely newly-developed suburb, whereas Kellyville is a mix of rural, old suburban and modern suburban. Like Kellyville, Beaumont Hills was developed as specifically-named housing estates in certain parts. 'The Sanctuary' is a housing estate known for offering a park-like atmosphere, due to being fronted by a natural creek and lined with cycling trails across the area. The suburb is developed with a range of house styles while still offering a quiet lifestyle.
Commercial Area
There is no shopping facilities available in Beaumont Hills. However, it is located within a short driving proximity to the newly-constructed Rouse Hill Town Centre in Rouse Hill, which features over 200 retail stores. Alternatively, Castle Towers is located approximately 10-15 minutes drive away from Beaumont Hills.
