United States House of Representatives elections, 1806

The U.S. House election, 1806 was an election for the United States House of Representatives in 1806.

The Democratic-Republicans continued to command a huge supermajority, as they gained a small number of new seats. Commitment to agrian policy allowed the Democratic-Republicans to dominate rural districts, which represented the bulk of the nation. Meanwhile, supporters of the Federalists, even in their traditional base of support in the urban centers of coastal New England, continued to grow with discontent over party ineffectiveness.
