Lithuanian National Radio and Television (Lithuanian: audio|Lietuvos nac radijas ir tv.ogg|Lietuvos nacionalinis radijas ir televizija; LRT) is the national public broadcasting company of Lithuania. The company operates the two national public television channels and three national public radio stations. It has provided regular radio service since 1926 and television broadcasting since 1957. The company is based in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. Lithuanian Radio and Television currently employs about 650 people. LRT was admitted as a full active member of the European Broadcasting Union on 1 January, 1993.

The three radio stations operate under the name of "Lietuvos radijas" or LR. The radio is playing three programs: LR 1, LR Klasika (clasic music) and Opus 3 (electronic music). Also LRT has an internet radio - @radijas. The Lithuanian Radio First program is the most popular radio station in Lithuania – 1 of 4 Lithuanians are listening to LR1.

The Lithuanian Radio and Television Council oversees the operations of LRT according to the Law on the Provision of Information to the Public and the Lithuanian Radio and Television Law. Although, LRT receives about 75% of its funding from the Lithuanian government, the company does show television commercials. A television licence fee or tax that every television purchaser would have to pay is proposed as the future source of income for LRT.

In May 2007 LRT started a project of digitizing all of its funds, including some five thousand cinefilm hours and some 30,000 video tape hours. The oldest entry dates back to 1895. By August 2008, three thousand film hours are expected to become digitized and made available online free of charge.
