Pulkovskiye Heights

Pulkovskiye Heights ( _ru. Пу́лковские высо́ты) is a chain of hills located to the south of Saint Petersburg. Runs to the south-west in the Izhorskaya Height direction. Altitude up to 73 m. A handy location of the heights was used during the civil war in 1918 - 1920 and the Great Patriotic War in Russia, e.g. in the battle of Leningrad. On the heights the Pulkovo Observatory is situated.
