Barlestone

Barlestone is a commuter village and civil parish in the Hinckley and Bosworth district of Leicestershire. The parish had a population of 2,471 according to the 2001 census [http://www.leics.gov.uk/barlestone.pdf] . Barlestone has four churches: A Saint Giles Church of England church on Church Road, A Baptist church on West End, a Methodist church on Newbold Road and Elohim Church located at Barlestone Primary School on Barton Road. There is a wheel located at the centre of the village, which is over 100 years old.

Nearby places are Nailstone, Osbaston, Market Bosworth, Newbold Verdon and Barton in the Beans.
