Susan Blanchard is an American actress, best known for playing Mary Kennicott Martin, R. N. #2 on the ABC soap opera "All My Children" from 1971 to 1975.
She is married to actor Charles Frank, who played her onscreen husband, Dr. Jeff Martin #2, on "All My Children". They also worked together in 1978 on the TV-movie "The New Maverick" with James Garner and Jack Kelly and the following year on the short-lived prime-time television western series "Young Maverick", a sequel to James Garner's original 1957 classic "Maverick". Frank played Bret Maverick's cousin Ben and Blanchard appeared as Ben's girlfriend Nell. Ben was the son of Beau Maverick, who was played in the original series by Roger Moore.
She also appeared in the CBS series "Beacon Hill".
Susan Blanchard is also well known as the television commercial spokeswoman for No Nonsense, a brand of pantyhose.
Blanchard played nurse Sandra Cooper on the television series "M*A*S*H" in 1977. Cooper overcame her insecurities and allowed Major Margaret Houlihan to see she needed to express her feelings more freely (all in the only episode in which Blanchard appeared).
