Edinburgh Business School

Edinburgh Business School is the Graduate School of Business of Heriot-Watt University (est. 1821), Edinburgh, Scotland. Heriot Watt Universisty is the eight oldest higher educational institution in the UK, and awards degrees by Royal Charter.

The School offers a range of postgraduate programmes and is most renowned for its Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme , which is one of the largest in the world. The MBA is offered on-campus and by distance learning, and all subjects are assessed by rigorous written examinations held in a worldwide network of centres. Its core appeal is its flexibility, as it is designed for professional business people juggling study around busy lives and careers. Certain subject courses are available in Spanish, Chinese and Arabic as well as English . A Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme, available for distance study, was introduced in 2003 and has over 400 students from around the world. Various Master of Science (MSc) degrees in a number of specialisms are also available at the School.. The Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University should not be confused with the University of Edinburgh Business School.

ACCA partnership

Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University have signed a joint agreement to enable ACCA Part 3 students, affiliates and members to gain a fast track entry through free-of-charge credit transfer and exemption when they matriculate for the MSc in Financial Management by distance learning or face-to-face study at a global network of centres.
