Bexley parks and open spaces

The London Borough of Bexley owns and maintains over 100 parks and open spaces within its boundaries, with a total of 638 hectares (1,580 acres)[1]. They include small gardens, river and woodland areas, and large parks with many sporting and other facilities. The five largest are:

Parish Wood Park is one of 11 parks throughout Greater London chosen to receive money for redevelopment by a public vote. The park received £2m towards better footpaths, more lighting, refurbished public toilets and new play areas for children.[2]
