Andy Kindler is an American
stand-up comedian fromNew York City who now resides in Los Angeles. One of his more notable criticisms was that of
Dane Cook where he compared the comedian's rise to that of Adolf Hitler's. He then went on to say that Cook was worse than Hitler, because at least Hitler had a point of view. He played the character "Andy" a fellow sportswriter and friend of Raymond on the TV show "Everybody Loves Raymond ", is a regular guest on "The Late Show with David Letterman ", contributor toThe Daily Show , has performed onHBO and made numerous appearances on Dr. Katz and Home Movies. He is also known for his annual "State of the Industry" address at theJust for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal.In May 2008, he toured with
Marc Maron andEugene Mirman in Stand Uppity: "Comedy That Makes You Feel Better About Yourself and Superior to Others." He can also be seen periodically on theComedy Central showLewis Black's Root of All Evil .Early in his career (Late 1980's and early 1990's), Kindler was in the World Wrestling Federation as a nerdy character named "Jamison", who was mostly used as a sidekick to the tag team "The Bushwackers".
