Shenzhou 8 (Chinese: 神舟八号) will be an unmanned flight of the People's Republic of China's Project 921-2 program. According to the plan of CNSA, Shenzhou 8 will be launched within two years after the launching of Tiangong 1, i.e. between 2010 and 2013.

At 1 Oct. 2008, Shanghai Space Administration, which participate in the development of Shenzhou 8, stated [ cite web|url=http://news.sina.com.cn/c/2008-10-01/170014521590s.shtml|title=Simulated docking of Shenzhou 8 has succeeded (in Chinese)|date=2008-10-01] that they have succeeded in the simulated experiments for the docking of Tiangong 1 and Shenzhou 8.More detailed information about Shenzhou 8 still remain unrevealed.

Final Shenzhou spacecraft design

This series of Shenzhou spacecrafts will be the last to see significant modifications from previous models. Future flights will use the same spacecraft design.
