Polish Army in the United Kingdom

Polish Army in the United Kingdom

The term Polish Army in the United Kingdom refers either to the Polish units stationed in England and Scotland during World War II, or - more generally - to all the Polish units (Polish 1st Corps, Polish 2nd Corps, elements of Polish airforce and navy) fighting alongside the Allies under British command in that conflict.

Most of those units were formed from the Sikorski's Army in France and Polish volunteers who reached UK through various means. See Polish Armed Forces in the West for more details.
