Carl Wark is a hill fort and scheduled ancient monument on Hathersage Moor in the Peak District of England. It lies just inside the Sheffield city boundary. The fort, 9,000 square metres in area, occupies a natural escarpment, fortified by turf banks reinforced by boulders.

The date of the fort is uncertain. Claims that it is of the Iron Age are supported by it lying in line with the Roman Rig dyke, while it also lies near the Roman road from Brough-on-Noe to Templeborough. Alternatively, it may be a Romano-British construction, dating from shortly after the Roman withdrawal, probably the fifth century.

While the fort would have offered some defence, it is in a curious location, overlooked by the higher Higger Tor, suggesting that it was constructed in a time of relative peace.
