Board of Jewish Education (Toronto)

The Board of Jewish Education (BJE) of Toronto, Ontario is an administrative body that offers direction to the Greater Toronto Area's Jewish schools. The BJE was established in 1949 and currently serves more than 70 day and supplementary schools, 1,700 educators and 17,000 students.

The BJE has now been replaced by Mercaz, The Centre for Enhancement of Jewish Education.
