Tyrone Howe

Tyrone Gyle Howe (born 2 April 1971 in Newtownards) is a former rugby union footballer who played on the wing for Ulster and Ireland. He toured with the 2001 British and Irish Lions.

Howe retired from professional rugby at the end of the 2005-6 season. In 2005 he was elected to Banbridge District Council as an Ulster Unionist Party candidate. Howe now regularly appears on Sky Sports' rugby coverage as a commentator and analyst.

On the 10 June 2000, Tyrone Howe was on the Ireland rugby team that recorded Ireland's largest win, by beating the United States. With a final score of United States 3 - 83 Ireland.
