1981 , as Midland Red East with the breakup of the oldMidland Red bus company, and then became known as Midland Fox in1984 .In late 2006, a new "Leicester Linx" brand was introduced for services in Leicester.
Following the opening of the Highcross Centre there were some changes to bus services and stops.
