Extended Stay Hotels (ESH) is a hotel brand that is the culmination of a rapid expansion in the extended stay hotel extended stay lodging market.

Extended Stay Hotels is now gaining recognition in the extended stay category, despite not belonging to a long established hotel group. With the demand for this new type of accommodations on the rise, ESH continues to expand, currently offering over 680 properties with more than 75,000 rooms that service nearly all major US metropolitan areas.

The company was formed in 2004 when the Blackstone Group, owners of Homestead Studio Suites Hotels, bought Extended Stay America and its brands StudioPLUS and Crossland Economy Studios.

Then, in 2005, it launched a new brand, Extended Stay Deluxe.
