Homewood Suites by Hilton

Homewood Suites by Hilton is a national chain of all-suite residential-style hotels trademarked by the Hilton Hotels Corporation. As of August 2008, the chain consists of 242 hotels and another 135 under development. The brand, launched in 1989, primarily caters toward travelers staying five or more consecutive nights. The maximum property size for Homewood Suites hotels is capped at 252 guest rooms in order to maintain a residential lodge-style feel. Similar to other Hilton brands, most Homewood Suites hotels are independently owned and operated by franchisees.

According to Homewood Suites, its hotels offer spacious suites, friendly staff, an on-site convenience store, an exercise facility, and a guest laundry at most locations. The chain also offers a "SuiteStart" complimentary hot breakfast daily and a "Welcome Home Reception" serving complimentary light meals and beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) Monday through Thursday evenings. Additional guest services include a complimentary grocery-shopping service (at some locations), online suite selection, online check in services, complimentary high speed internet access, Hilton HHonors points and miles, and a complete, 24-hour business center. Most locations also feature a swimming pool and outdoor sports court. Homewood Suites competes with Staybridge Suites and Residence Inn in the high moderate to low upscale segment.

In July 2008, the Homewood Suites by Hilton brand was recognized as the brand "Highest in Guest Satisfaction Among Extended Stay Hotels" by J.D.
