Arkie Deya Whiteley (6 November 1964 - 19 December 2001), was an Australian actress who appeared in television and films.

Her parents were the renowned artist Brett Whiteley, and his wife Wendy Whiteley. According to her obituary in The Times newspaper, when living with her parents at the Hotel Chelsea in New York as an infant her baby sitter was US blues singer Janis Joplin. Arkie was educated at the prestigious Ascham School in Sydney.

Her films included: "A Town Like Alice" (1981 television mini-series), "Razorback", "", "Gallowglass", "Princess Caraboo", plus "The Last Musketeer" with Robson Green. She also appeared in the television series "Prisoner" as troubled prostitute/junkie Donna Mason, and in early episodes of A Country Practice .

She lived with the British actor Paul Rhys for seven years. He was however, not present throughout the term of her illness. Instead, Arkie was cared for by friend and sometimes lover, Malcolm Tweedie. After her father's death, Arkie Whiteley negotiated with the New South Wales government to purchase his studio and run it as a studio museum managed by the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

She was married twice, to Christopher Kuhn (from 1995 until their divorce in 1999), and to Jim Elliott (from December 2001 until Whiteley's death on 19 December 2001).

She died from adrenal cancer aged 37, on the birthday of her ex-lover Paul Rhys.
