Express.Net Airlines is a cargo airline based in Naples, Florida, USA. It operates all-cargo charter and ACMI services in the USA and to Canada, Mexico, South America and the Far East. History

The airline was established in 1972 as Transcontinental Airlines and in 1999 was purchased from Scott Kalitta by David Clark and Michael Goldberg who wholly own the airline, which has 270 employees (at March 2007).

Incidents and accidents

On May 1 2006, a wingflap (1 metre x 3 metres) from an Express.net Airbus A300 cargo jet fell off during flight over a residential neighbourhood near Toronto. The wingflap damaged a car parked in a driveway; luckily the owner and her 3 children exited the car shortly before impact. When called by a GlobalTV news correspondent, the president of Express.net refused to offer an apology and felt that there was no reason for their company to contact the woman who owns the car.
