Ben Willbond

Ben Willbond ( b. Buckinghamshire, England, 18th January 1973 ) is a British comedian and actor with credits on television, radio and film, recently including Deep Trouble on BBC Radio 4 with actor & writer Jim Field Smith. He was formerly part of the comedy duo "Ben & Arn", who won "Best Newcomer" at the Perrier Award in 1999. He then went on to perform his solo character shows at several Edinburgh fringe festivals, the last being in 2005.

He also featured in the movie length final episode of the Ricky Gervais Comedy Extras as a television director.

Recent television and film includes "The Katy Brand show" on ITV2, "The Thick of It" on BBC Four, "Mayo" on BBC One and the movie "Starter for 10" (UK 2006). Ben can currently be seen in a new sketch for ITV2 "Laura, Ben & Him" with Marek Larwood and 2005 Perrier winner Laura Solon.

Ben lives and works in London.
