Trevor Marmalade

Trevor Marmalade (born Jason van de Velde on April 26, 1962) is the stage name of a comedian from Melbourne, Australia of Dutch descent. Jason grew up in Surrey Hills in Melbourne. He picked the name after his favourite band, Marmalade (band).Fact|date=November 2007

He appears on "The AFL Footy Show" behind the bar, and has done so since the show started in 1994.

Marmalade was a member of the alternative comedy show "Punter to Punter" with Tracy Harvey, Tony Rickards as "Con Marasco", Slim Whittle and John Rothfield as "Dr Turf". The show was aired on 3RRR on Saturday mornings after the Coodabeen Champions during the 1980s.

He was also a successful standup comic headliner making appearances in the early 1980s at "Le Joke" and "The Last Laugh". He also appeared on "Hey Hey It's Saturday".

He is known for his "blokey", everyman persona and is a fan of the Kangaroos Football Club and resides in the St Kilda area.
