The World is a daily newspaper in Coos Bay, Oregon, United States. From its office in downtown Coos Bay on Commercial Avenue, The World serves Oregon's South Coast, including the cities of Coos Bay, North Bend, Reedsport, Bandon, Coquille and Myrtle Point.

Circulation is 12,250 on weekday afternoons and 14,250 on Saturday mornings, according to the Audit Bureau of Circulations. [1]

The paper has been owned by Lee Enterprises since its 2005 acquisition of Pulitzer Newspapers Inc.
