Fisher Communications (NASDAQ|FSCI) is a media company in the United States. Based in Seattle, Washington, the company owns a number of radio and television stations in the northwestern United States.

The Fisher Interactive Network is comprised of the 13 English language and 2 Spanish language websites offering local news and information focus on various Pacific Northwest markets. Advertising options are available on each individual site or in aggregate.

Trivia

Fisher Communications has formerly used two other official names. Initially, the company was known as "Fisher's Blend Station, Inc." In 1975, Fisher's Blend Station, Inc. was renamed to "Fisher Broadcasting Inc." and was succeeded by the current name of the company in 2000.
