Lynn Berry was the editor-in-chief of "
The Moscow Times ", the leadingEnglish-language daily inRussia , until June 2006. She was replaced by former deputy editor Andrew McChesney. Berry first became the editor of "The Moscow Times" in January 2001 and the length of her tenure has made her the longest-serving editor in the newspaper's 14-year history.Before being appointed editor, Berry occupied the night editor position and was later promoted to managing editor. Previous to her stint with "The Moscow Times", she worked on the
Moscow desk of theAssociated Press .She is not married.
