Tarnowskie Góry [IPA-pl|t|a|r|'|n|o|f|s|k|j|e|-|'|g|u|r|y] ( _de. Tarnowitz) is a town in southern Poland with 61,642 inhabitants (2005). Situated in the Silesian Voivodeship (since 1999), it was previously in Katowice Voivodeship (1975-1998). It is the seat of Tarnowskie Góry County.
