Trevor McNevan (also known as Teerawk) was born July 17, 1978 in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. He is the lead singer/songwriter of Thousand Foot Krutch. He also performs in pop punk side project FM Static with Steve Augustine (the third Thousand Foot Krutch drummer), and he used the FM Static song "Moment Of Truth", to propose to his wife. His first band, Oddball, included former Thousand Foot Krutch members Dave Smith (guitar) and Tim Baxter (bass), as well as Three Days Grace drummer Neil Sanderson. Oddball released the 27-song record "Shutterbug", in 1995, featuring half hip-hop and half rock songs.

McNevan is a founding member of Thousand Foot Krutch, who were formed in Peterborough, Ontario in 1997, along with original guitarist Dave Smith. McNevan came up with the name Thousand Foot Krutch, which "symbolizes the point in our lives that we realize we can't make it on our own strength".Fact|date=October 2007 Speaking of Thousand Foot Krutch he says,Fact|date=October 2007

We make music for everyone, not just this or that demographic, or set of beliefs. I'm a Christian guy, that's my faith, but I write songs about life, just like anyone else in this. We're very thankful to be making music for a living, and don't take it for granted at all. I take my responsibility as an artist/songwriter very seriously, and look at it like we've been given a platform to say something, and should use that wisely.
McNevan receives requests to work on everything from R&B, rock, and pop to country music, and has contributed songwriting and/or guest vocals for numerous other artists, including tobyMac, Mandisa, Hawk Nelson, Decyfer Down, Wavorly,KJ-52, Demon Hunter, Manafest, and Falling Up, to name a few.Fact|date=June 2008.

McNevan is also credited with discovering and developing fellow Tooth & Nail Records and Petersborough band Hawk Nelson.Fact|date=October 2007 He co-wrote and co-produced the band's first album, "Letters to the President" and co-wrote the second album "Smile, It's The End of the World". He also co-wrote the song "Bring 'Em Out" with the band for the movie "Yours, Mine and Ours", in which the band also performed. McNevan also starred in Hawk Nelson's California music video as the driver of the jeep.

McNevan has his own publishing company called "Teerawk Music" that houses his various songwriting, developing, and production ventures. The company is mentioned in KJ-52's song 'Run for Cover'.

Trevor is a friend of Ottawa Senators NHL player Mike Fisher, and wrote a goal song for Fisher, only used at the Senators' home arena, Scotiabank Place.
