Stretton en le Field is a small village and civil parish in the North West Leicestershire district of Leicestershire, England. It is about seven miles south-west of Ashby de la Zouch, and according to the 2001 census the parish had a population of 36.

History

Stretten was part of Derbyshire historically. It was mentioned in the Domesday book as containing a mill and 10 acres of meadow and belonging to Henry de FerrersHenry was given a large number of manors in Derbyshire including Tissington, Atlow and Cowley.] and being worth fifteen shillings"Domesday Book: A Complete Translation".
