This is a list of notable Hammond organ players, both solo performers and members of ensembles. Only add names here if the person has their own article on Wikipedia, please.

*Rick Allen began performing on the Hammond in LA in the 1960s, but since the 1980s, he has lived in New Orleans, where he plays and records with blues and cajun performers including Ernie K-Doe, King Floyd, Freddy Fender, Marcia Ball.

*Rod Argent is from "The Zombies" and "Argent"
*Brian Auger (born 1939) a jazz and rock keyboardist, who formed the group "Steampacket" with Rod Stewart in 1965.

*Ena Baga (1906-2004) was a British pianist and silent film organist who performed on the Hammond in the 1960s
*Tony Banks (born 1950) is an English songwriter, pianist/keyboard player, and founding member of progressive rock/pop group "Genesis". He played a Hammond L-122 from 1969 to 1973, which was replaced by a modified T102 spinet prior to recording "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway".
*Stuart 'Pinkie' Bates, former keyboardist of rock group The Divine Comedy, now a music teacher at Parmiter's School.
*Peter Bardens, keyboardist of the progrock band Camel until 1978.

*Marco Benevento (born 1977) is half of the Benevento/Russo Duo along with Joe Russo. Originally associated with the "jam band" scene, he currently performs various styles of jazz.
*David Bowie (born 1947) is an English singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, arranger and mixer.
*James Brown
*Milt Buckner (1915-77), who pioneered the use of the Hammond organ in Jazz. Played with the Lionel Hampton Orchestra from 1941-48 and again 1950-52, as well as with his own bands.
*Jerry Burke Organist for Lawrence Welk from 1934 till his death in 1965. Published several volume of organ arrangements.
* John "Rabbit" Bundrick (born 1948) a US-born rock keyboardist, pianist, and organist who played on albums by The Who, Bob Marley and the Wailers, Roger Waters, Free, and performed in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show". He has toured several times with The Who.

*Tony Carey (b. 1953) is a rock and heavy metal keyboardist and Hammond organ player; he played the band Rainbow from 1975 to 1977
*Mike Carr British Hammond Organ jazz BeBop player, born in 1937 Newcastle
*Felix Cavaliere was part of The Young Rascals and he also played in Steven Van Zandt's Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul as well as with Ringo Starr's All Star Band
*Nick Cave, best known for his work with the rock band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
*Elbernita "Twinkie" Clark is a US gospel singer, composer, musician, and evangelist dubbed "the Queen of the B-3." A member of The Clark Sisters, she also has seven solo albums.
*Rob Collins (Charlatans).
*Tom Constanten played the Hammond B-3 exclusively with the Grateful Dead in live concerts during his tenure with the group from 1968 to 1970, taking over for Ron "Pigpen" McKernan.
*Dave "Baby" Cortez (born 1938) a US pop music and R&B pianist and organist. His 1950s instrumental, "The Happy Organ" was the first pop/rock hit to feature the organ as lead instrument.
*Ed Cox is an organist from The Hurricanes, and has played with Billy Preston.
*Jim Cox AKA "Mr B3", played for many artists, currently Boz Scaggs (2008)
*Vincent Crane - organist of Atomic Rooster.
*Jesse Crawford(1895- 1962) was a US pianist and organist well-known in the 1920s as a theater organist for silent films. In the 1930s, he switched to the Hammond organ.
*Carlos Cutaia is one of the two keyboard players from 1970's Progressive Rock band from Argentina La Máquina de Hacer Pájaros along with Charly García. He played as well as Hammond, piano, mellotron and harpsicord.

*Wild Bill Davis (1918–1995) is the stage name of American jazz pianist, organist, and arranger William Davis, a pioneering jazz electronic organist who led a number of organ trios.
*Lenny Dee (1923-2006), an American pop/easy listening/boogie-woogie/jazz organist whose career spanned six decades and 56 albums; he had a Top 20 hit in 1955.
*Joey DeFrancesco (born 1971) is an American jazz organist and trumpeter. "Down Beat's" 2003 Critics Poll selected him as “top jazz organist.” Mentored by Jimmy Smith, he has performed with Miles Davis and John McLaughlin.
