First Avenue is a station on the BMT Canarsie Line of the New York City Subway. It is the easternmost Canarsie Line station in Manhattan. The layout, with two side platforms, is similar to Third Avenue station, except that this station has a mezzanine while Third Avenue does not. As at Third Avenue, there are no connections to other subway lines.
