"Bulldog Jack" is a 1935 film produced by Gaumont International, directed by Walter Forde, and starring Jack Hulbert, Fay Wray, Ralph Richardson; it also starred Atholl Fleming as Bulldog Drummond.

The film was followed by many others following the story of Captain Hugh 'Bulldog' Drummond, however because of the various production companies involved the actor playing Bulldog was frequently changed.

The film went on general release in April, 1935 the UK and September, 1935 in the USA.

The film includes action set in a fictional London Underground station named Bloomsbury.

Plot summary

Bulldog Drummond is injured when his car that has been sabotaged is involved in a crash, Jack Pennington agrees to masquerade as a sleuth, he is enlisted to help Ann Manders find her jeweler grandfather who has been kidnapped by a gang of crooks who want him to copy a valuable necklace they want to steal. Their plan backfires in the British Museum and the film climaxes in an exciting chase on a runaway train in the London Underground.
