Sominex

Sominex

Sominex is the antihistamine Diphenhydramine in the United States, and is sold over the counter (OTC). Promethazine hydrochloride is the antihistamine ingredient in the UK version of Sominex, and is also sold OTC.

Little Shop of Horrors

Sominex is the name of a song written by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman for the hit musical Little Shop of Horrors. It should be noted that the song was not used in the film of the same name, because Seymour and Audrey survive the plant's mischievous antics.
