Derrick Stevens

Derrick Stevens (aka Derrick 'Delite' Stevens) is a singer best known for lending his voice to MC Skat Kat^[1] after the character went solo,^[2] taking over from The Wild Pair who voiced the character in Paula Abdul's song and music video "Opposites Attract."^[2] However, in the Street mix version of the song, Stevens provided both the intro rap and the second rap.^[3] Entertainment Weekly incorrectly asserted that the intro rap was performed by Romany Malco.^[4]

Stevens is now radio production manager at The Current, a station at Minnesota Public Radio.^[3]
