Yeoford railway station is a rural station on the Tarka Line serving the village of Yeofordin Devon, England. It is served by trains between Barnstaple and Exeter.

History

The station was opened by the North Devon Railway on 1 August 1854. It has been used by many operators, but recently, over the last decade by Wales & West, a regional West Country and south Wales train operator, but in 2001 Wales & West divided into Wessex Trains and Wales & Borders. Since then, Yeoford has been served by Wessex Trains and since which became members of the Greater Western franchise, owned and operated by First Group and is now First Great Western.

ervices

All trains on the Barnstaple to Exmouth service are scheduled to stop at Yeoford on request – this means that passengers alighting here must tell the conductor that they wish to do so, and those waiting to join must signal clearly to the driver as the train approaches. Trains connect with main line services at Exeter St Davids.
