Bletchingdon is a village and
civil parish in the Cherwell district ofOxfordshire ,England , a couple of miles north ofKidlington . Until 1322 the Lord of the Manor of Bletchington was Roger, Lord d'Amory.
It is famous as the one time home of
Sir Christopher Wren who came to live in the Rectory.
