Fire

On 4th March 2008, a burnt out car caused a gas explosion resulting in a house setting on fire near the main cross roads in Thurgoland. A couple who lived in the house were taken to hospital to be treated for burns and a neighbour was taken due to shock. This quiet village very rarely sees events of this proportion.
