The Autumn Offering is a Metalcore band on Victory Records.

The Autumn Offering was formed in 1999, when former bassist Sean Robbins was a freshman in high school. By 2003, they had completed several regional tours and self-booked US tours. After Hatebreed front-man Jamey Jasta took notice of them, The Autumn Offering was signed to Stillborn Records and released Revelations of the Unsung the same year. Since then, they have toured with bands like Slayer, Slipknot, Mastodon, God Forbid, Killswitch Engage and more.

In 2005, the band was signed to Victory Records. After their debut was reissued in January 2006, they entered Audiohammer Studios with Jason Suecof (God Forbid, Trivium) to begin work on Embrace The Gutter, which was released on May 16, 2006.

According to MySpace bulletins, the band announced plans to release a new album in late 2007, along with new vocalist (Matt McChesney, formerly of Hell Within), and a new drummer Allen Royal. Their new cd was eventually released on October 30, 2007, titled, Fear Will Cast No Shadow.

According to Myspace bulletins, Allen Royal was relieved of his drumming duties early in January 2008. Brian Sculley replaced him. Also Sean Robbins has left the band due to disagreements regarding the musical direction and overall purpose of the band's existance. He has been replaced in the band with Richie Williams, who designed the Fear Will Cast No Shadow artwork. Founder, Sean Robbins will not be returning to the band. Their newest single "Silence and Goodbye" made its debut on MTV'S Headbangers Ball on April 5. The band recently announced an upcoming tour that will stretch from May 9 to June 8. They are touring with Straight Line Stitch in support of their most recent release in Fear Will Cast No Shadow.
