Diagnosis

The following suggest an LGIB:
*Melena and a negative oesophagogastroduodenoscopy
*Hematochezia
*Fecal occult blood

The following may suggest an LGIB:
*Anemia

*Coagulopathy - specifically a bleeding diathesis
